                The mesoderm is one of the three germinal layers that appears in the third week of embrypnic develpoment . It is formed through a process called gastrulation. There are 3 important components

• The paraxial mesoderm             : They give rise to all skeletal muscle cells , and skull bones .
• The intermediate mesoderm     : They develops into urogenital system -gonads and kidney system.
• The lateral plate mesoderm      :They develops mesentries,the lining of plueral,cardiac, lining of abdominal cavity.
