How cancerous cells utilize glutamine to increase tumorigenesis?

The MYC Gene promotes cancer by increasing cancer cells to access a constant supply of glutamine. In particular, c-myc is more often expressed. This leads to the increased expression of many genes,some of them are involved in cell proliferation and resulting in the formation of cancer. Cells with an amplified MYC gene make more of the enzyme that converts glutamine into its downstream products. Such cells essentially  become addicted to MYC amplification. The common pathway that can be strike into our mind iaglycolysis or glutaminolysis .
