Adoption is specially common among domistic animal be cause the bond they developed each other. Humans adopt animals because they love and care them.

Many species of animals are live like parents and children. Just like a dog nursed a baby squirrel as part of her own litter. And like cow adopted a leopard. There are many stories like this .these stories are examples of that animals make bond for safety , security and simple bond a need for caring and companionship.

Another reason for this is mutual benefits . In this situation both species have benifits. For instance adding a member in a group can help in security. Most adoption in animals happen due to their feelings for empathy for others.

Altruism among animals involves the sacrifice of an animal's own well being for the benefit of another animal . So these are the some reasons for animals adopt another species offspring.
