With the increase in public understanding that infectious diseases are a continuous and growing threat and with new concerns about biological terrorism, knowledge of primary prevention strategies becomes vitally important.

Please discuss three primary prevention strategies (remember, this means before it happens prevention) we can use to protect ourselves from and/or minimize the impact of an infectious disease. In addition, give an example of how you apply one of these strategies in your own life.

Following strategic plans can be followed to prevent infection:

1. Self-awareness: It is highly necessary that the masses are aware of the potential damagws caused by the infectious diseases. In order to do so, it is highly necessary that public awareness programs are conducted timely.

2. Self-hygein: It is very important that each and every person mintains his personal hygein so as to minimize the chances of infection. This is because majority of the infections arise due to poor hygein.

3. Proper medical advice: It is very important that a person seeks proper medical advice that too witjin stipulated time in order to prevent further damages.

All of these strategies are very easy to practice and it is recommended that every person follows these practices to stay healthy.
