ANSWER -

Protein one of the most fundamental biomolecule in living beings, which is more specifically related to the structure to perform its function. if the structure changes, then there will be a change in the fucntion of the protein, may be it become dysfunctional.

the 3D structure of protein is basically related to the arrangements of the amino acids, and if therre is a change in the structure of amino acid the protein become denature and thus non functional.

therefore, we can say that, the more precise the 3D structure of the protein , more will be the functional specificity of the protein. in other simple words, 3D structureof protein is the sequential arrangements of amino acids, and if there is a change in amino acid sequence there will be denaturation of protein,

therefore, 3D structure of protein is neccessary in its functional domains.
