The two nuclei are supraoptic nucleus and the para ventricular nucleus.

The Hormones produced by these two nuclei are:

  • The anti diuretic hormone, another name of which is vasopressin, produced by the supraoptic nucleus that is present in the hypothalamus.
  • The second hormone is oxytocin, that is produced by the para ventricular nucleus, that is present in the hypothalamus.
