Discomfort and pain

One-half of older adults is not active due to discomfort and pain. Back pain, sore knees, heart conditions, and lung disorder can be barriers to exercise and limit motivation. Also, overweight and obesity can be major problems in influencing healthy activity in older adults. Old aged diseases and diminishing memory are also a part. Even though disease can be prevented at some degrees in some disease conditions. For example periarthritis shoulder is a condition old aged people suffering who have diabetes . Little amount of excercise can relax the pain a bit.

Loneliness

loneliness is also a another important factor. May be some old aged people are very interested with doing exercises if they got a good motivated workout partner. Lack of that they may become demotivated.
