Ans-Pulmonary Ascariasis -Ascaris lumbricoides is the most common intestinal helminthic infection.

In lung phase it causes hemorrhage inflammation, bacterial infection and symptoms are bloody sputum, cough, wheezing and fever.

In intestinal phase symptoms are related to number of worms. They migrate via trachea to the intestine tract.

Small numbers are asymptotic and large numbers are passing of worms in stool, vomit, nausea, malabsorption and abdominal pain.

If it's untreated it can cause intestinal obstruction (blockage) and malnutrition.
