summary of the conclusion
Conclusion
In conclusion, our results showed that maize plants in response to warming shared apparently thermal acclimation of the net photosynthetic rate (An) and leaf dark respiration (Rd) as evidenced by the upward shift of An-T and the declined temperature sensitivity (Q10) of Rd under warmer condition. The biochemical
and photochemical processes (Rubisco carboxylation and electron transport) as well as the stomatal-regu- lated CO2 diffusion process (gs) were vital in determin- ing the temperature response of photosynthesis, and the respiratory acclimation was closely associated with foliar N concentration. Our results also indicated that many current process-based vegetation and ecosystem models may overestimate the potential risks of climate warming on maize yield, and thus different tempera- ture response parameters of photosynthesis and respi- ration should be applied to these modes for further improving the predictions of global warming impacts on agricultural production

Answer #1

Maize plants showed positive response to warming as by increased photosynthetic rate and lead dark respiration as evidenced by upward shift if An-T and declined temperature sensitivity of Rd. Stromal regulated CO2 diffusion process and foliar N concentration were vital in determining the photosynthetic and respiratory response to temperature respectively. Our results indicated that current models may overestimate the potential the potential risk so, there is a need to consider different temperature response parameters of photosyntheis and respiration to determine the effects of global warming on agricultural production with more sensitivity.
