The dna is the source of most of the phenotype which you can see in an individual at a time.

Dna data is most reliable one which helps in telling the truth about all confusions like homeoplasy, polytomy etc. The dna data is present in the sequence , this sequence is similar in simialr organisms and different in not closely related organisms.

This, this is the most reliable data as it is effected less by environment, as compared to other data like morphological data which is affected by environment.
