Answer #1

Epidemiological transition is the transition between different stages of growth and decline in populations. Where the disease effects different age groups for a long time and affected them by decreasing the survival rate , fitness etc. It occurs in many stages. This transitikn is such where the stage difference is different to tell.

The deaths happen due to many reasons or different reasons , which are not not very clear.

The same is happening in this pandemic as it is affceting different age groups, causing death in different stages and different numbers. Many a times death happens in individuals with other accompanying diseases alsom

So, this fits perfectly in this model.

COVID-19 is caused by infection with the SARS-CoV-2 virus. This virus can infect the type II pneumocytes, a type of cell in the alveoli of the lungs that produce surfactants to ensure proper lung function. Type II pneumocytes have a diameter of about 9 μm. SARS-CoV-2 virus particles have a diameter of about 100 nm. How much larger is a Type II pneumocyte than a SARS-CoV-2 virion? HINT: compare their volumes, assuming both are spheres! The Type II pneumocyte cell...
