Describe what needs to happen on the cellular level for a multipotent stem cell in the intestine, skin, or blood to differentiate into one of the specialized cells that make up these tissues.

The stem cell the type of cell which can give rise to the other cells in the body by continous differentiation.The multipotent stem cell or any type of cell in our body contains the same genome but each type of cell express specific type of proteins.For example, a library with huge number of books of different subjects but you choose those specific books which you need.

The multipotent stem cells also contains the same gene but they differentiate into limited type of cells when they expresses those specific genes related to that specialized cells,

which means if the multipotent cell express the gene of blood then the multipotent cell will give rise to the blood cells.
