You are interested in assessing the relationship between the proportion of the individual Spartina alterniflora stem that has been oiled and stem death by using data collected in a Louisiana Salt Marsh after the Deep Water Horizon Oil spill in 2010 (Table 3). Provide an appropriate graph to describe the data, include a figure caption and include a summary paragraph describing the figure provided. (Follow the CSE guideline format)
Table 3 Proportion of individual Spartina alterniflora stems covered in oil and the proportion of the same stem that is unoiled and still alive. Data from a heavily oiled Salt Marsh in Barataria Bay, Louisiana, USA in October 2010, approximately 1 month after sealing the oil-well (Silliman et al. 2012).

Please find the graphical representation as shown below:
According to the data between oiled stem and the unoiled and alive stem, it can be clearly seen that as the proportion of the oiled stem decreases, the proportion of unoiled still alive stem increases. This too is depicted by the graphical data as well. Hence, it can be concluded that the relative proportions of oiled and unoiled stems follow an inverse relationship with each other.
