cell biology
1.) What are two differences between epithelial and connective tissue?
2.) What is the difference between simple cuboidal, simple columnar, pseudostratified columnar and transitional cells?
Ans 1.)
Epithelial tissue:-
1. Epithelial tissue is made up of cells and the amount of intercellular matrix is very less or negligible.
2. these cells are present in the form of one or more layers.
3.the location of these cells is above the basement membrane.
4. their origin of development is ectoderm or mesodern or endoderm.
5. the cells are present as in the form of covering of internal and external organs.
Connective tissue:-
1. as epithelial cells are made up of cells connective tissue is made of large amount of intercellular matrix.
2. connective tissue are sorrounded by the blood capillaries while as epithelial tissue are not.
3. these develop only form the mesoderm.
4. they connect the organs.
