Answer #1

Primary endosymbiosis is a process by which an eukaryote engulfs another prokaryote for using that organism to its advantage. The evidence of endosymbiosis is the formation of chloroplasts in the autotrophic eukaryotes, the cell engulfed an photosynthetic cyanobacteria which became a plastid in the eukaryotic cell and then the plastid shared the genetic material with the eukaryotic cell and the plastid evolved over time to become chloroplasts which helps in photosynthesis.
