why are plant cell and animal cell so different?
why is mitosis and meiosis so different from one another?
1.Plant cells and animal cells so different why because,
Most plant cells are rectangular and most animal cells are round in shape.
The plant cell can also be larger than animal cell.
Plant cells have cell wall but animal cell don't have cell wall.
A plant cell has a large vacuole but animal cells have many, smaller vacuoles.
Plants have chloroplasts. They produce their own food through photosynthesis. So plants are autotrophs.
But animal cells don't have chloroplasts. They depend upon plants or other animals for food.So they are heterotrophs.
2.Mitosis and meiosis so different from one another why because,
Mitosis has one cell division but meiosis has two cell divisions.
Mitosis produces two diploid daughter cells and meiosis produces four haploid daughter cells.
In mitosis daughter cells are genetically identical but in meiosis daughter cells are genetically different.
