What is the difference between prehistoric migration and modern migration?
The modern day migration has a major difference from the prehistoric migration, they are the national borders. These national borders are the barriers to migration & restricts migration to particular groups or prevents migration to particular economic classes. Both prehistoric & modern migration are caused because of the same fundamental pressures, but now it is structured by the political powers also. In prehistoric times, the migration involved movement of people to places that were inhabited & the main reasons for their migration was climate changes, lack of food etc. In the modern world, migration can be divided into 3, they are labor & refugee migration, urbanization.
