Generally speaking, which arm or branch of the immune system, if absent, results in the most severe consequences:
a. CMI - T-cells
b. Humoral Immunity - B-cells
c. C’ System

Ans.(b) Humoral Immunity - B-cells
The CMI is a immune response which doesnt involve the relese of antibodies and the T-cells promotes the killing of the antigens and cells that have ingested microorganisms. Whereas the Humoral Immunity involves the secretion of antibodies and thus called antibody-mediated immunity. With the help of helper T-cells the B-cells gets activated and produces antibodies in response to the specific antigen or pathogens that are freely circulating, or outside the infected cells. Thus if the B-cell is inactive the body will not produce any antibodies and thus the person will be infected to many certain disease and immune system will colapse leading to the death of individual.
