Proteins and other molecules are often transported among:

a.cellular compartments.

b. regions within the nucleus.

c.cellular exosomes.

d. regions within ribosomes

Homework Answers

Answer #1

Many proteins and other molecules are transported between various cellular compartments. For eg. Membrane proteins are synthesized in cytoplasm, then are transported to endoplasmic reticulum for post translational modifications, and then transported to golgi bodies and finally to cell membrane. Similarly molecules like pyruvate are transported into mitochondrial matrix from cytoplasm.

So, correct answer is (a) cellular compartments
