Explain what it for TCRs to be MHC-restricted and why BCRs aren't MHC restricted.
answer -
The tcr and the bcr are the receptor for the antigen recognition on the t cell and B cells respectively. The tcr are mhc restricted while the bcr are not mhc restriced , the t cell who are educated in the thymus and get the arrangement of the tcr gene to produce the unique tcr and develop the ability of the recognition of the MHC and its binding with the nonself peptide holding or representing MHC
The structure of the TCR and BCR are similar but not identical. The tcr are MHC restricted while BCR are not this is becasue the TCR CDR1 and CDR2 loop of variable region of the tcr , which are evolutionary conserved or selected to interact with the alpha helix of the MHC that why tcr are mhc restricted
