Answer #1

Out of the 5 major mass extinctions, one is Cretaceous - Paleogene extinction (K-Pg extinction) also known as Cretaceous - Tertiary extinction (K-T extinction).

It happened 66 million years ago marked by end of Cretaceous period.

It was a sudden extinction of about three quarters of plants and animal species kn Earth. Except leatherback sea turtles and crocodiles, no tetrapod over 25 kg weight survived. Affected animals were Archeoaurs, Turtles, Lepidosauria, Mammals like monotremes etc. extincted in thjs event.

The cause of this mass extinction was 6 to 9 miles wide asteroid hit on Earth crust and change in Earth's climate after it. The Chicxulub crater in Gulf of Mexico provide evidence of asteroid impact.

In particular, he mentioned one study that looked at the effect of good bacteria on the health of our intestinal system and how a poor diet can change the bacterial communities (microbiome) inside the gut. The study wanted to prove that both a poor diet...

Finding the Spring Constant We can describe an oscillating mass in terms of its position, velocity, and acceleration as a function of time. We can also describe the system from an energy perspective. In this experiment, you will measure the position and velocity as a function of time for an oscillating mass and spring system, and from those data, plot the kinetic and potential energies of the system. Energy is present in three forms for the mass and spring system....
