1. What epithelium cells include goblet cells?

2. what is the function of the mucus in each of the epithelial cells? (the function of mucus is not same in each epithelial cell)

3. Two epithelial cells (simple squamous ) from two different organs and the sournces of the organs are two different animals, besides these reasons of difference, explain why the two epithelial cells would look different.

4. out of the list of tissue types (see below) choose a tissue that depicts an epithelium that undergoes dramatic changes in form depending on changes in state of the organ in which the epithelium is found. Briefly summarize the change in form the epithelium can undergo, and indicate one way in which this change in form might be accomplished.

Tissue Type

Simple Squamous

Simple Cuboidal

Simple Columnar

Stratified squamous nonkeratinized

Stratified squamous keratinized

Stratified cuboidal

Pseudostratified Columnar

Transitional

Answer #1

Ans=Yes epithelial cell include with goblet cell.

Out of the four basic type of animal tissues the epithelium is also one along with connective tissue, nervous tissue, and muscle tissue. The epithelial tissue mainly cover the cavity, blood vessel surface and organs of the whole body.

There are mainly three types of epithelial cells. Which are

1)squamous 2)columnar 3)suboidal

The function of epithelial cell include with secretion, selective absorption, sensing and protection.

Goblet cells are generally columnar epithellial cells which secrete the gel forming mucin.

Goblet cells mainly found in respiratory, reproductive and gastro intestinal tract and mainly cover by stratified squamous cells.

Function of goblet cells-The main role of goblet cell is to secrete mcus to protect the mucus membrane, where they found.

1. The apical ends of the epithelial cells stain a bit differently from the bulk of the cytoplasm of these cells. This difference in staining is probably a consequence of nature of hte cell in the apical region. Even though one cannot resolve them at the light microscope level, what structural elements (fine projections of the plasma membrane) are foind along the apical suffaces of these cells? What name is given to the aggregation of these structural elements along the...
