Male moth is active than that of female moth. In case of coloration between male male and female moth they are almost simlar in color. But in some case male moth is brighter in color than thaat of female moth.

Camouflage in moth helps it to protect from predators. In polluted area the color of moth is dark than that of the moth of low polluted area. They camouflage to hide themselves from predators mostly in daylight. Due to there striped and bright color they colored themselves according to the color of the its surrounding. in which it is sitting.
