Answer a) Clostridia spp. causes mainly food born infections and diseases which generally do not require high dose of antibiotic and some of them also show resistance to Penicillin. So a mixture of antibiotics can be used are Piperacillin-tazobactum, cefepime + Metronidazole.

B) Salmonella spp. causes infection through food and mainly causes Gastroenteritis in human body . various strains of Salmonella can be treated by using a mixture of Ampicillin- chloramphenicol, ampicillin- tetracyclin etc.

C) Staphylococcus spp. are now became resistant to penicillin and cephalosporin. Other than it antibiotics can be used are Clindamycin,Rifampin,Oxacillin etc.

D) Proteus spp. mainly causes urinary infection. Penicillin and Cephalosporin can be used as effective against Proteus spp. some antibiotics such as Ceftazidime,amikacin etc.
