ANS .Somatic effect - it refers to the effect of radiations exposure on the body that is being exposed .

substances causing somatic effects are - carcinogens , radon.

visible somatic effects are - blood disorder,hair problem ,hair loss,nausea and after prolonged exposure it can lead to cancer .

Genetic effects -it refers to the damage or harm done to the childern of those persons who are exposed to radiations.Although these harmful radiations can damage the DNA of the exposed person but these genetic abnormalities are not passed to their offsprings at significant level hence no known genetic effect is present.
