Homework Answers

Answer #1

In necrosis, inflamation is a trademark because due to the damage of cellular membrane after the release of intracellular content, which causes the inflamation in necrosis. Some of the important causes of necrosis are injuries, infaraction, infection, cancer, toxins and inflamation.

During apoptosis, inflamation does not happen because apoptosis is a predefined cell suicide thereby the cells are actively distroyed by their own which maintains a smooth function in body. Another important factors that governs this are there is no membrane blebbing and shrinkage of cytoplasm and nucleus occurs. But in necrosis it is swelling. Also, apoptosis affects individual cells.
