Read and explain how would you use cloning and SCR for de-extinction of woolly mammoth

Cloning is the process of producing genetically identical individuals either naturally or artificially. It just requires DNA fragments to produce clones.

SCR or sister chromatid recombination is an error free pathway for the repair of the double strand breaks happening when we are replicating and it is thought to prevent cancer and genomic instability.

So, from the DNA fragments of the wolly mammoth, we can clone the wolly mammoth and if some double strand breaks are happening in the process of replication of DNA, we can use SCR. That way, we can de-extinct wolly mammoth.
