• Gametes are haploid

C. 24 + 23 = 47

• Offspring are produced when 2 haploid gametes fertilize.
• Haploid number of human is 23
• Therefore a human-chimp hybrid will have 23 + 24 chromosome

D. 46

• Nullisomy have a pair of homologous chromosome missing and their chromosome number is represented by 2N - 2
