The human body is organized at different levels, starting with the cell. Cells are organized into tissues, and tissues form organs. Organs are organized into organ systems such as the skeletal and muscular system.

The important point is that the surface area to the volume ratio gets smaller as the cell gets larger. Thus, if the cell grows beyond a certain limit, not enough material will be able to cross the membrane fast enough to accommodate the increased cellular volume. That is why cells are so small.

Cytoskeleton is necessary for the plant as the plant cytoskeleton is the network of protein filaments, microtubules, and interconnecting filamentous bridges that give shape, structure and organization to the cytoplasm of the plant cell.
