Chagas disease is spread world -wide but most common in Latin America. This disease is caused by Trypanosoma Cruzi. This parasite is transmitted to human and animal by insect vector.  

This disease has two phase: acute phase and chronic phase.

The incubation period of this disease is 7- 14 days.  

The sign and symptoms of acute phase of chagas disease include:

1. Fever

2. Bodyache and headache

3. Rash in body and fatigue

4. Liver and spleen enlargement

5. Swelling of glands
