In humans the sex are determined by two sex chromosomes X and Y. The male is determined by XY chromosomes and female is determined by XX chromosomes.
The male produce 2 types of gametes X and Y and the female produces same types of gametes X and X. So if the sperm contain X chromosome means it undergo fertilization with Egg X and makes a baby female XX. If the sperm contain Y chromosome means it undergo fertilization with Egg X and makes a baby male XY. So we state that Human beings exhibit male heterogamy.
