Obesity is a major risk factor for diabetes. Cancer is risk that is linked from diabetes and it considered to be an increased risk. Unfortunately all three of these human conditions are serious and highly complex with both genetic and environmental influences.

You have decided to study the influence of a new exercise regimen on individuals who suffer from a genetic mutation that increases the risk of obesity. Group A is made of individuals who are asked tot run on a treadmill twice a week and Group B is made of individuals who suffer from a genetic mutation that increases the risk of obesity. Researchers weigh patients monthly and observe who use the new exercise routine lost on average 10 pounds more than those running on the tread mill over a period of six months.
