1. What may be the consequences of endurance training for people with the metabolic syndrome? Describe the metabolic defects in the skeletal muscles and in the adipose tissue of people with the metabolic syndrome , and then explain how endurance training could improve these defects in the skeletal muscles and in the adipose tissue . Do not forget to explain how the communication between these 2 tissues is involed in the development of metabolic deffects, and how the communication between these 2 tissues is also involved in the improved metabolism in response to endurance training.

Metabolic syndrome can cause reduced physical activity inturn of decreased insulin sensitivity and increased abdominal fat. They will have less stamina to complete the endurance training. This leads to excessive exhausted situation.

Metabolic myopathies are a group of disorders encountered by muscles,caused by defective genes. It is a heterogenous condition that have common abnormalities of muscle energy metabolism that results in skeletal muscle disfunction. Metabolic defect in adipose tissue plays a huge role in obesity and related metabolic disorders.

During Endurance training, blood pressure improves and glycogen levels rises which helps in defending the defects.

The regulation of glucose and fatty acid metabolism by skeletal muscle and adipose tissue can be affected by leptin.
