Answer #1

Solution-

  • Silent mutations are mutations in DNA that do not have an observable effect on the organism's phenotype. They are a specific type of neutral mutation.
  • because silent mutation is not considered for lethal because it is a change third codon of mRNA due to change at nucleotide at DNA level.
  • due to wobble base pairing in codon anticodon binding, the third codon is not considered so only 1st and 2nd base of codon is considered perfectly to match with anticodons 2nd and 3rd base.
  • So codons 3rd and anticodons first has some flexibilty over there.
  • Many time multiple codon codes for single amino acids this is conservation nature of codon which is used in wobble base pairing.
  • So different codon has single type of anticodon due to single type of aminoacylated tRNA.

Genetic code backwards: You have just discovered a small neuropeptide that makes your friend have "dancing feet". Whenever they hear a certain song, they just have to dance. As fun as it is to make them dance whenever you want, you realize that this could be a serious problem and want to help. Since you do not have "dancing feet", you have a normal neuropetide.   You both go to a research clinic and have the small neuropetide sequenced. Your normal...
