Ans.Kaiser Permanente is the largest not-for-profit health maintenance organization (HMO) in the United States It was founded in 1945 and Headquartered in Oakland, California.

Kaiser is comprised of three segments:

a)Kaiser Foundation Health Plans, Inc.

b)Kaiser Foundation Hospitals

c)The permanente Medical Groups.

The three groups cooperate under mutually exclusive contracts to provide one-stop health care services.
