Answer #1

Answer=

Functions of

1. substrate - substarte is a molecule upon which an enzyme binds ,the substarte bonds with the enzyme active site, and an enzyme substrate complex is formed.

2. vegetative bud - from it whole plant can be formed.

3. monocot - The epidermis protects the stem and photosynthesizes to make sugar. The vascular bundle is conductive and contains xylem for transporting water up to the leaves and phloem to take sap down to the roots.

4. dicot - The cotyledons of the dicot may emerge and show above the ground and function similar to leaves i.e. photosyntheis.

5. phloem - It tyransports food from leaves to the rest of the plant.

6. xylem - It transports water and solutes from the roots to the leaves.

7. pith-is a tissue in the stems of vascular plants.is composed of soft, spongy parenchyma cells, which store and transport nutrients throughout the plant.
