Homework Answers

Answer #1

The five processes which are found in prokaryotes are:

*The electron transport chain in the membrane of prokaryotic cell.

* The transcription and translation is coupled. It means the transcription process and translation occur simultaneously.

* The RNA processing events such as splicing, capping and tailing is not found in prokaryotes.

* The division in prokaryotuc cell is dine by amitosis.

* The circular chromosome is found which has the ability to replicate itself. This is known as plasmid.

* The histone proteins are not involved in the packaging of DNA in the nucleoid region in prokaryotes.

* The prokaryotic cell don't have organelle such as chloroplast, mitochondria, Endoplasmic reticulum, golgi body etc.
