which of the following parts of the nucleus makes ribosomes and RNA

which of the following parts of the nucleus makes ribosomes and RNA

Homework Answers

Answer #1

The part of the nucleus responsible for making ribosomes and RNA is NUCLEOLUS

The nucleus is a membrane bound-organelle in Eukaryotes which contains the genetic material. The nucleus consists of many different parts like a nuclear membrane, nucleoplasm, nucleolus, and chromatin fibers.

Nucleoplasm is an envelope that surrounds the membrane and consists of an outer and an inner layer. Nucleoplasm is the liquid part of the nucleus. The chromatin is made up of protein and DNA, it condenses during cell division and forms the chromosomes. The nucleolus is the late structure within the nucleus that makes ribosomes and RNA.
