Answer #1

Question:

Answer: A and C

Sigma factor help in initiation of transcription in bacteria. It bound with RNA polymerase and help in binding to promotor region. It will de-attached after initiation of transcription and bind to another RNA polymerase. It binds to RNA polymerase and make complex before initiation of transcription.

Please note: In condition B, please check weither it RNA polymerase or DNA polymerase. If it is DNA polymerase, then all sentences are false because it interact with RNA polymerase only.

Which of the following statements about the Lac operon is correct? Group of answer choices The Lac promoter is weak because its sequence deviates significantly from the consensus sequence. The Lac promoter is weak because it requires cAMP for transcription. The Lac promoter is strong because its sequence does not deviate greatly from the consensus sequence. The Lac promoter is strong so it requires a repressor for negative control.
