Ans . Stomatal Conductance is a measure of the degree of stomatal opening and can be used as an indicator of plant water status.

The stomatal movement modulates CO2 availability and consequently the rate of photosynthesis, and several photoassimilates (such as sucrose and glucose) regulate photosynthesis through modulating stomatal movement.

The increase in Stomatal Conductance , which regulates gas exchange , can allow plants under well-watered water growth conditions to increase their CO2 uptake and subsequently enhance photosynthesis ( production of glucose).
