The control of the viral infection and preventing it to damage our immune system further is made possible. Second important factor the faster rate of mutation happening in the virus which render the development of particular vaccine against the virus impossible.

Antivirals have more side effects because it damages the host cells as well where as the antibacterials kill the microbe alone.

Prions are misfolded proteins with the ability to transmit their shape into normal one. This misfolded structure is resistat to proteases.
