Answer #1

Mycorrhiza is a fungi that is been injected around the roots to form a symbiotic relationship between the fungi and the plant. This fungi will gets colonize in the plant roots and helps the plants to increse the absorption of water and other nutrients from the soil. The plants provide carbohydrates that is formed from photosynthesis to the fungi. Strigolactone helps to stimulate the symbiotic relationship between these fungi and the plants and provides phosphate and other nutrients necessary for the growth of the plants. Strigolactone also helps for the germination of the parasitic organisms that is found in the roots of the plants. It also helps to prevent excess branching mechanism in plants. So for obtaining better results, mycorrhiza and strigolactone are used together.
