Find an example of how cell(s) from one organism influence the shape of cell(s) in another organism. Explain how this influence is exerted/sensed.
Suppose there are two organisms. One is human and another is a bacteria. Now, the bacteria cell come in contact with a human phagocytic cell such as macrophage and the macrophage changes it shape to engulf the bacteria.
Bacterial cell wall carries different types of antigens which are identified by the particular type of receptor. This antigen-receptor complex emits a single to the cell interior and the cytoskeletal structure of macrophage is changes. So, macrophage can change its shape according to its changed cytoskeletal structure.
