Answer #1

Option 1, 2 and 4 are relatable. The jaw evolution is primarily selected only for increasing the efficiency for feeding and ability to grab the food. Jaws evolved mainly to feed on a variety of food resources and help organism to perform various food habits. Apart from that predation and defence were the key role of jaws. They help to grab food and perform defence against pedators. The jaw shape also helps to decided the mode of nutrition for a individual, thus indirectly it also helped to evolve teeth for specific mode of nutrition also. Teeths started to evolve after jaws evolution. Though jaws do not have much significance in respiratory system.
