                         Because in G2 phase in a meiosis , two chromatids per chromosomes are present and a haploid number of chromosomes are seen during meiosis , because of reductional division of somatic cells.One chromatid per chromosome is seen in stage of Anaphase 1 of meiosis, not in the stage of G2 phase.
