What types of RNA are produced by transcription and what enzyme catalyzes transcription?

Homework Answers

Answer #1

The RNA produced by transcription are:-

Messenger RNA (mRNA) for protein synthesis carry the coding sequence and are called transcripts

ribosomal RNA (rRNA) molecules cell's ribosomes core in which protein synthesis takes place

transfer RNA (tRNA) molecules transfer amino acids to the ribosomes during protein synthesis.

The enzymes which is used during transcription is called RNA polymerases ll that catalyzes the formation of a pre-mRNA molecule, which then processed to form mature mRNA.
