ARE DOMINANCE HIERARCHIES ALWAYS LINEAR? WHY OR WHY NOT?
Dominance Hierarchy is something that is observed in mammals like wolves where the social structuring of animals tends to rise either in a linear or almost linear manner. It most exist in linear form and the social structure is linear which means that the animal which is dominant is above the one which is submissive in nature. It is linear because the dominant animal is always above the submissive one and that is how the ranking system is designed. They are linear because in this each of the individual dominate the individual which is below them and are dominated by the one which is above them.
