Z scheme

This is type of reactions which happens in light dependent reactions. This is the process of flow of electrons from one photosystem to another in a Z like manner. It links the two photosystem by flow of electrons from water to NADP+. Enhancement effect is also known as Emerson Effect. This also helps in joining the two photosystems together by varying rate of photosynthesis due to exposure of differrent wavelengths of light. Some chloroplast absorb light of about 680 nm while others absorb light having more higher wavelength.
