Describe the following:
Flow cytometry and FACS analysis
Biosensor assays for measuring the rates of association and disassociation of antigen receptors for their ligands
Stimulation of lymphocyte proliferation by treatment with polyclonal mitogens
Measurements of apoptosis
Assays for cytotoxic T cells and CD4 T cells
Flow cytometry and FACS analysis:
Flow cytometry a cell biology technique which can be used for analysis of heterogeneous fluid mixture containing different live cells. Here light source are used and sensors used to detect types of lights.
FACS is generally used to sort cells based on flow cytometry data. so it is related with flow cytometry data.
based on the forward-scatter, side-scatter, and fluorescent data which is collected from flow cytometry FACS sorted out the cells. there are two comparable method , one is histograms and another is dot-plot.
as per rules I can only answer the first part of the question. so please ask question separately.thank you.
