I am stuck on these three... can someone please help?!!!!
The pH range of rumen is between 5.7 to 7.3.
The pH of cows stomach is high due to they eat a lot of rapidly digesting starch which causes acid to produce in higher amount which overwhelms the buffering of rumen. So that the pH of rumen is generally high.
And the pH range of pig's stomach is between 2.5 to 5.2.
The pH of pig's stomach is generally lower because lower pH is required for the digestion of plant and animal proteins. pH of pig's stomach increases when they intake feed.
